Faith-Based Therapy
There’s something that happens to our identity and sense of worth when we understand whose we are. The belief that we are fearfully and wonderfully made needs to be more than academic head knowledge; it needs to be known in the fullness of our being.
This God who knew you before time began, made you in his image, and knit you in your mother’s womb desires for you to walk in freedom.
How Faith-Based Therapy Can Work
One of the main reasons I went to seminary for my mental health counseling degree was to have a greater understanding of how psychology and theology intersect.
I am a proponent that the God who created you knows you better than me. I am simply privileged to walk alongside you with the guidance of the Holy Spirit to move you to a healthier place of being formed in the image of Christ, which inevitably moves you to a healthier place in life.
Your faith plays a significant role in your life, and finding someone who believes in God the way you do is important.
If you are looking for more than psychological tools, and you want someone who has a biblical world-view, highlights scripture in a practical way, and creates a safe place for you to explore how the gospel speaks directly to your situation, I provide that.
